The US Department of
Housing and Urban Development (HUD) sets standards for housing receiving
Federal Assistance. The primary standards are the Housing
Quality Standards (HQS). All housing funded though HUD's housing
choice vouchers must comply HQS as condition of receiving
funding.
Inspections
would be conducted in accordance with standards found in the
U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development
regulations located at 24 CFA Part 982.401 and in accordance
with standards found in Residential Building Code or Building
Code. local housing codes inspected
according to both UPCS regulations and Standard Housing Code
regulations.HQS Certified for Atlanta Housing Authority,Dekalb
